The Body of His Holiness , Abune Paulos, Fifth Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church, Ichege of the See of St. Tekle Haymanot, Archbishop of Axum and Presidents of the World Council of Churches buried at St. Trinity Cathedral Church. Speaking at the funeral ceremony , Acting Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalgen stressed the achievements of His Holiness Abune Paulos in mobilizing the church towards developmental activities. Various speakers including the head of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Counsel lauded the endeavors of the patriarch Government officials, dignitaries , Representatives, bishops and heads of churches including Coptic Church of Egypt, Syria and India, General Secretary of World Churches, representatives of Vatican Greek Orthodox and thousands of people have attended the funeral ceremony.
