The National Committee established to carry out the arrangements for the burial of Prime Minister Meles have announced that the funeral will be held a week on Sunday, on September 2nd. The Committee has also announced that various subcommittees have been set up to carry out various aspects of the occasion. The National Committee said that the way the people welcomed the body of the late Prime Minister back to Addis Ababa demonstrated just close he had been to the hearts of the people. The Committee also said that it would be making arrangements for the public to pay homage to the late Prime Minister.
